A beginning

All I can say at this point is that you have Bernard Canavan to thank(or blame!) for this project. So what’s it all about? This is going to be a personal blog with a kind of community overflow. Nearly all of my web efforts to date have hinged on my hometown, it’s history, it’s community and some of this blog is going to be about that. My choice of title is a rough indication of what you can expect here.  I am liable to jump topics from travel to history to computers to photography and other stuff that catches my eye. I am setting out with no expectations other than that someone might find this of interest. So welcome aboard.
